In these times of trouble
In these hurtful moments
In these heartbreaking periods
In these grevious moments
Let us remember the cord of love

 

We must remember we are one
No matter our tribe
No matter our views
No matter our opinions
Let us remember the cord of love


Let us not give up on breaking grounds
Let us not give up on helping each other
Let us desist from hurting each other
Let us uphold honesty 
Let us strive to make Nigeria better


The cord of love should bind us together
Moral Uprightness should be our principle
We should be a nation of Integrity
We should give each other reasons to smile
Let us not forget the cord of love
